Papa - " Maia, you are ridiculous."
Maia - "No, I'm still Maia."

Maia pulled a big piece of garlic out of her dinner and this conversation ensued.

Jason - "Maia, you don't have to eat that.  It will knock your socks off."
Maia - "But my socks are off!"

M - What's that Papa?
J - Lasagna
M - ZAGNA!!!
J - no, it's luh-zagna
M - I love-zagna

My son bullies me, insults his mother and once punched an old man in the nuts. I know it's probably just a phase. But what if it isn't? ...

Another short conversation between Maia and me.

M - Mom, I'm freezing!
 ... (pause for about 5 seconds)
M - something's on my arm

Jason has been talking about wanting lox and bagels for a while, so this morning he decided to go get some.  As he was getting out the Chariot to walk with  Maia to the store, she and I had this conversation.

M - Mom, we're going to get bagels!
S - Oh, and lox?
M - No, just a little.
